Carl Schultz

Carl, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz of Fairbury, died at Denver, Colo. June 20, 1919, at the age of 37. He was born in Germany Sept. 11, 1881.

He came to this county as a little child with his parents and settled at Beatrice. In the fall of 1882 the family moved to Fairbury. Here he lived with his parents and had his part with the young people of his town in their social and school life, and graduated from the Fairbury high school.

On Aug. 23, 1907 he was married to Miss Seda Robinson of Seattle, Wash. The first three years of their married life was spent at Everett, Wash., since that time his profession has taken him many places and they have considered their home at Fairbury.

On last September he had a severe attach of the flu, from which he never recovered. Last March he went to Denver for his health but his strength did not return.

He leaves to mourn his going a kind, loving wife, a father and mother, one brother, Henry Schultz of Omaha and two sisters, Mrs. A.C. Fish and Miss Bertha Schultz of Lincoln.

Funeral services were held Monday morning from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz on C street, in charge of Rev. Davies. The body was laid to rest in the Fairbury cemetery.
