Welcome to Lancaster County, Nebraska

History and Genealogy!

My name is Chandra Hainline and my goal is to help you track your ancestors through time
by transcribing genealogical and historical data and placing it online for the free use of all researchers.

I will be adding data to this site as often as I can.
If you have any family data you would like to see online, such as: census info,
marriage/birth/death records, obituaries, biographies, county histories, newspaper articles, etc. please email me with your contributions.  Every little bit helps!

So Check your attics!
Dust off your family scrapbooks!
We're looking for DATA for this site!!!

Regretfully, I am unable to do any personal research.

Lancaster County was formed in 1859.

It is the second most populous county in Nebraska.  The county seat is Lincoln, the state capital.  The original county seat in 1859 was the village of Lancaster.
