Held for Murder

Norfolk, Nebraska, May 20.--(Special to The Herald.) -- The preliminary examination of William and Herman Bache for the murder of George W. Ives, on the 23d day of April, an account of which appeared in The Herald at the time, took place this afternoon before Justice Beels,   After several witnesses on the part of the state were examined the prisoners were held for their appearance at the next term of the district court.  No testimony was offered on the part of the defense and Herman Bache was admitted to bail in the sum of $10,000 for murder and William Bache in the sum of $5,000 as an accessory to the crime.

Granted A  Change of Venue 

Norfolk, Nebraska, May 20.--(Special to The Herald.)--The preliminary trial of Cornbleth and Pelzer, recently in the clothing

business in this city and charged with defrauding their creditors, was taken to Battle Creek today on a change of venue.

    Superintendent of the State Insane asylum at Norfolk, Neb., has been arrested on a charge of murder.
