Pierce County, Nebraska

Pierce County is bounded on the north by Knox and Cedar,  the east by Cedar and Wayne, the south

by Madison and the west by Antelope.  It was created in 1859 by the Territorial Legislature and it limits

defined by law.  On February 5, 1875, the boundaries were re-adjusted by statute.  The county seat is Pierce.
