bounded on the north and
east by the Platte River, south by Cass
and Lancaster, west by Butler.
It
has 483,840 acres of deep, rich, loamy soil.
Divided into bottom, plain and rolling
lands.
It is located in the great
Platte Valley, and is included in the flood
plains
of the broad and shallow Platte, whose immense
floods are derived from the snows of the
Rocky Mountains.
The
county seat is Wahoo.
