Scott Derby Family

 

 Scott Brown Derby and his wife Mary Cougill Derby 

       

      Scott was the son of Harriet Merenda Brown Derby and George Alvin Derby.   Mary was the daughter

      of Anna Clevenger Cougill and Asbury Tilden Cougill.  

       

      They both died in the 1880's and are buried in the Utica Cemetery

       

       

       

 

 Bert Brown and Grant Asbury Derby

 

      This is my grandfather, Bert Brown Derby (standing) and his brother Grant Asbury Derby.  They were the

      sons of Scott and Mary Cougill Derby.

       

      Bert was born in Utica, Seward County, Nebraska in 1881 and Grant was born in Utica in 1886.
