Died, In Star City, Humboldt county, Nevada, March 20, 1865, of Consumption, W. K. Baker, formerly of Metropolis, Illinois; aged 86 years. Funeral of deceased, on Tuesday, was conducted by the Masonic fraternity. [Contributed by Kim Torp]

A. Kleinhans Recorder of St. James Lodge No. 9, A.O.U.W. has rceived a card of thanks from Mrs. Hugh Moy for the $2,000 from the Brotherhood after the death of her husband.

In Winnemucca Februry 17 Y. Picard a native of Bretagne, France, aged 54 years. Funeral services will take place from the late residence of deceased February 18.

Y. Picard an old resident of this county died of pneumonia. He had been ill but a short time and his death was unexpecrted. He leaves a widow but no children. His funeral will take place Februry 18. Hose Compay No. 1 of which he was a member will attend the funeral.

Robert Slade an old resident of the county died Februry 9 at Lovelock from an attack of paralysis. He was a native of England and came to this country from Australia many years ago. He has no relatives in Nevada.

A Lovelock correspondent of the "Silver State" again reports the death of Robert Slade. There is no doubt now that he has gone to the undiscovered country from whose bourn no traveler returns.

Robert Slade who died at Lovelock made a will and named Henry Theis his Executor. He left some promissory notes to henry Muttleberry and his horses to the Curtis Brothers. He had no relatives in this country.

At Lovelock Februry 8th Henry Wester, aged 28 years.

Henry Wester Foreman at Joseph Marzen's ranch at Lovelock cut up the carcass of a horse which died sudenly for the purpose of poisoning coyotes. After a couple of days his throat became inflamed. Thinking it was caused by a cold local remedies were applied but he grew worse and Dr. Hanson was called to attend him.
