Juan Fernandez de Atienza (abt. 1652 - abt. 1700) Maria Margarita de Alcala y Escobar (1613 - ) Juan Fernandez de Atienza and María Margarita de Acalá y Escobar were the parents of  José de Atienza de Alcalá y Escobar [c.1649-after 1716].  We know this from LDS Disk #38 Pin # 502289 and Pin #505057.  They were married 2 May 1632, at the cathedral at  Puebla, Mexico. Note the change in spelling [and pronunciation] from Acalá to Alcalá. Juan was the son of Cristobal de Atienza and Maria San Baptista.  He was born about 1610, in Birguega, Toledo, Spain.  He was clearly Spanish. Margarita was baptized 28 July 1613 at the cathedral in Puebla, Mexico. She was the daughter of Francisco Acalá and María Escobar. Submitted by Donald Rivara, June 23, 2009.
