LINCOLN COUNTY, NEW
MEXICO
Executions
(Before Lethal Injection)
|
|
| The topic of executions is not the most pleasant in researching
genealogy but is a part of our history. We all have an ancestor in
our family tree that seems to have vanished and maybe one can be found
here. If you happen to come across one of your ancestors or know of
a story to share please send an email. Make sure to check the old newspaper
microfilms as the execution was probably printed in the newspaper!
New Mexico Genealogy Trails gratefully acknowledges the source of information below as coming from Rob Gallagher's website BEFORE THE NEEDLES, which contains The History of Executions In America Before Lethal Injection. Make sure to visit BEFORE THE NEEDLES for more information and to view the picture and history of New Mexico's Electric Chair. |
