Los Alamos County Information

Formed in 1949 from parts of Sandoval and Santa Fe Counties, this is the smallest county in New Mexico, based on area.

The county seat is Los Alamos

It also has one of the highest percentages of PhD's, many of them working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory which is located here.
