Ann MINER, who has been in the city jail for the last two or three days suffering with the mania-a-potion, and who against a charge was pending for stealing an iron foot-scraper, was on Saturday removed to the Alms-house. [Submitted by Candi H.]

Patrick MOORE, a brawny Hoboken long-shoreman left his wife and 7 small children about 6 weeks ago ostensibly in search of work. His family was on Thursday evening removed to the Almshouse at Snake Hill. (Hudson County) [Submitted by C. Horton.]

Steward HAINS, of the Almshouse yesterday entered $2,000 bail for further hearing on Friday next, before Justice Cassady, on the charges preferred by keeper Archer of the Insane Asylum.
