Richard T Mowery, small son of Mr and Mrs Jess Mowery. 619 south Central avenue , died at the City hospital at 7 o'clock Sunday evening, of bowel trouble. He was born May 27, 1916, and was an only child. The body will be accompanied Tuesday to Rockford, the former home of Mr. and Mrs. Mowery where the funeral will be held and interment made Wednesday.

Carl B. Howard, 20, colored, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Y. Howard, died at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at his home at 315 north Franklin street. Death was due to tuberculosis. He had been ailing for over a year. The deceased is survived by his father, mother, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at the A. M. E. church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

Bernice Hope, the infant daughter of Frank and Dora Baker, of 321 Prospect street , died at eleven o'clock Tuesday night, death resulting from indigestion, from which the baby had been suffering for the past -five weeks.   The child was born here and was aged just two months and eight days. The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence and burial will be made at Woodlawn.

Elizah Richards, 68, died at the District Tuberculosis Hospital Saturday night following a year's illness. The deceased was taken to the hospital early last week from the home of his daughter Mrs. Harry E. Porter, 219 East Third street. Besides Mrs. Porter, Mrs. John Gusinger, Lima; Mrs. J. E. Phillips, Panama Canal Zone, and James Richards, Marilla, Mich., are surviving children. Funeral services will probably be held Tuesday, but definite arrangements have not been made.
