services will be held Wednesday at 1 p. m. in the Siferd and son funeral
home for Dale Erving Haines, six-month-old son of Mr. and
Mrs. Clifford D. Haines, 130 W. Wayne-st. Rev. C. F. Fogle will be
in charge and burial will be made in the Truro cemetery at Columbus

funeral of Robert H Glover, who died at his home, Mrs.
Rhoda June Davis, aged 73 years, a pioneer resident of Perry
township. died at the homo of her son. J. W. Hubert, there, Saturday,
after three years' illness, due to a general breakdown. Mrs. Davis was
born in Perry township and had always lived there. The funeral was held
from the Garfield church this afternoon and burial was made at Fletcher
cemetery. Mrs.
Emma McPheron, 54 years old, wife of Marion McPheron, died at her
home. Funeral
services for Mrs. Olivia Lamison Sprague, widow of the late Grant
Sprague, who died at her home in the Thomas apartments, corner of west
Market and Elizabeth streets, at 10:45 o'clock Sunday night, after a two
years illness with cancer, were held from Woodlawn chapel this
afternoon. Rev Thomas R. Knox officiated. Interment was made in Woodlawn
cemetery.

Thomas of Lima Daily News Funeral services over the remains of the late Charles Hicks, well known colored citizen who died at his home late on west Spring street Monday, were held at the A. M. E. church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were largely attended. The services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Fox. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. The pall bearers at the funeral were Capt. Peter McCown, L. L. Raymer, Thomas Findlay, C. F. Stewart, C. F. Hamilton, and D. W. Day. Interment was in Woodlawn cemetery. Lima Daily News Mrs. Sarah Woodin, widow of David Woodin, late citizen and baggage master of the C. H. & D. who died Thursday evening at her home, 440 east McKibben street. Deceased was a native of England and lived to the age of 69 years. One daughter Elizabeth, of this city survives. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 9:30 o'clock Monday. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery. |
| Lima News Sep 10, 1924 Funeral Services for Betty Cecil Morris, 16 months' old daughter, who died Tuesday after a brief illness, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Second-st M E church. Rev. A. A. Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee cemetery. Lima Times Democrat The last solemn services over the remains of the late James Coughlin, were held at St. Rose church this morning at 8:30 o'clock and were generously attended by many sympathizing friends. Rev. A. E. Manning officiated at the requiem services and preached the funeral services. The interment was made in Gethsemani cemetery. Funeral services over the small body of Harold A. Shoup, four months of age, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Shoup of 937 Reese avenue, Rev. V. Hayes Miller, pastor of the South Side Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The little one died last night, after only a short illness from pneumonia. Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie M. Scott, who passed away at her home in Perry township, six miles south of the city, yesterday morning, will be held at 10 o'clock on Wednesday forenoon at the Rousculp church, not far from her home. The body will be laid to rest at Fletcher chapel cemetery, Perry township. Lima Times Democrat George Dunn, venerable father of Messrs., A. J. and D. C. Dunn, of this city, died at 5 o'clock Saturday evening at his home late in Miamisburg, and was 74 years of age. The funeral services will be held at Miamisburg tomorrow and the remains will be brought to this city for interment in Woodlawn cemetery tomorrow afternoon. Lima News Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Durnbaugh, 83, who died Saturday night at the home of her son, Harry Durnbaugh, 638 South Main street, will be held at 2 o'clock at the residence. Burial will be made in Woodlawn cemetery. Besides the son with whom she lived, four other sons survive her. They are; John of Cleveland, George of Akron, Ralph and Charles of Lima, and one daughter Mrs. Mary Pessender of Springfield. The deceased had been a resident of Lima for the past 39 years, coming here in 1880 from Perry county, Pa. ------ The body of Mrs. E. G. Longsworth, mother of the late Taylor Longsworth, who died Wednesday at her home in McKittrick, California, arrived in Lima this afternoon and was taken to the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Taylor Longsworth, 1316 west Market street. Funeral services will be held at the Longsworth home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in Woodlawn cemetery. Lima Times Democrat Rev. Knox, pastor of the Market Street Presbyterian Church, conducted funeral services at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning for Frank J. Zanone, late manager of the Regent theater who died Sunday. Many members of the Elks lodge, Woodman of the World and Kiwanis club, with which Mr. Zanone was affiliated, attended the services. Interment was made in Woodlawn cemetery. Lima Daily News The body of Edward Swartout, a Toledo resident and formerly of this city, will arrive on the 13:35 C. H. & D. train Thursday afternoon and will be met by friends who will act as pallbearers at the funeral, which will be held shortly after the arrival. Short services will be held at Woodlawn cemetery before interment. Mr. Swartout, who was formerly employed at the C. H. & D. shops of here, when he was a resident, was 78 years old and has been living in Toledo for a number of years. His wife passed away November 14, 1914. Lima Daily News Funeral services for Alexander Shenk, ex-county commissioner, will be held in St. John's Catholic church at Delphos, Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Solemn high mass will be intoned. Mr. Shenk passed away at his home on North Franklin street in Delphos, News Year's night. The body will be laid to rest in the family lot in St. John's Catholic cemetery. Dr. Arthur M. Griffin, rector of Christ Church, Episcopal, conducted funeral services for Albert H. McCauley, held at 7 o'clock last night, at his late home in the Albert apartments, West High street, many friends attended. Mr. McCauley, who was the proprietor of the hat shop on West High street, which bore his name, passed from life on Saturday night. The body was deposited temporarily this morning in the receiving vault at Woodlawn cemetery. The body of William Klatte, son of John Klatte, who was killed in a collision on the Canadian Pacific railroad at Moose Jaw, Canada, is expected to reach Lima Wednesday night. The funeral party, consisting of the widow and three children, and her father, Mr. Williams, started from Moose Jaw last night. Two days and two nights will be consumed in making the journey. The body will rest at the home of his father at 510 North Jefferson street. Funeral arrangements will be announced following the arrival of the body in Lima. Lima Daily News The
