Mrs. John Fenton
Bluffton - Dec 1- The funeral of Mrs. John Fenton, one of the oldest residents of this town, who died late Friday night from infirmities due to old age, was held Monday. Mrs. Fenton was born in England about 80 years ago, and came to America with her parents when a mere child, settling in Baltimore, shortly after, their home was destroyed by fire and the only thing saved was a small china cat. Mrs. Fenton never permitted it to get from her sight. If she left home she always carried the cat with her. Mr. Fenton, who is a few years older than his wife, is ill and not expected to survive the shock of his wife's death. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton removed here from Findlay some years ago.
