Bertha May Lambert
Mrs. Bertha May Lambert, 42, w ife of C. B. Lambert, grocer, Elm and West streets, died at her home 407 south Metcalf street, Friday evening, after an illness of nine weeks from typhoid fever. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Griffith, Rimer, Putnam county. Besides the parents, three sisters and a brother survive. They are Mrs. Charles Randall, Miss Nell Griffith , Indianapolis, Mrs. Walter Saulsbury, Elida and Friend Griffith, Lima .Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 o'clock at the residence, Rev. O. P. Hoffman will officiate and interment will be in Ottawa River cemetery, near Rimer.

Benjamin Larson
Coroner Harry Lewis said Tuesday he would return an official verdict of death due to acute alcoholism in the case of Benjamin Larson, 38, World war veteran, who was found dead in bed at his home, 3 Rowlands row, early Monday by his mother, Mrs. Nellie Larson. Born in Wisconsin, Larson had lived in Lima many years. In addition to his mother, two sisters and three brothers survive. They are Mrs. Hattie Lindsey, 940 S. Main-st; Mrs. Cornelius Smith, of Detroit; Martin and Lewis, both of Portsmouth, Va., and Harry of Oceans, Va. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Lewis funeral home. The Rev. William L. Steffens will conduct the services. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

Nellie Larson
Mrs. Nellie Larson, 85, of No. 4 Rowlands Row, died Sunday afternoon in St. Rita's hospital following an extended illness.A native of Demark, Mrs. Larson came to the United States nearly 65 years ago, and had lived in Lima for the past 35 years. Surviving are two sons, Lewis of Florida and Harry of Oceana, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Smith of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Hattie Lindsey, 1228 S. Main-st; five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Lewis Memorial chapel with Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Thomas Edward Latty, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Latty, 758 Weadock avenue, will be held Monday at St. Johns Catholic church. Interment will be in Gethaemani cemetery. Latty died New Year's afternoon from Injuries he sustained in a collision of two Big Four trains at Bellefontaine earlier in the day.

Mary Louise Lawther
The death of Mrs. Mary Louise Lawther occurred at her home, 734, north Main street, at the age of 72 years. Mrs. Lawthers been ill for three weeks with asthmatic trouble, which, with complications, and her age, caused her death.
She was born in Springfield and had resided in Lima since 1S63. She was the widow of Robert B. Lawther. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, they being William Lawther of Toledo, and Robert Lawther and Mrs. Grace Hollis. of Lima. The Hollis family has lived with Mrs. Lawther for some time. Her husband died thirteen years ago. No arrangements for the funeral have as yet. been made.

Harold Ledesque
Harold Ledesque, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ledesque, 1110 McCullough-st, died shortly before noon Friday at City hospital, after five weeks Illness of typhoid fever. He is survived by his parents and three brothers, Donald and Robert at home and George, in the U. S. Navy. He was a student In Central high school. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Davis-Miller and Son funeral home, and burial will be in the Ward cemetery.

Christina Leedy
The funeral services for the late Mrs. Christina Leedy will be held Monday morning at ten o'clock at the Sugar Creek church, and burial will be made at the cemetery nearby. Mrs. Leedy was the widow of Jacob Leedy, and was born in Virginia . She came to Ohio when a child and has always resided in Bath township, where she died. She was 67 years of age at the time of her death and had been ill for 11 weeks with liver trouble. A large family of sons and daughters survive to mourn the loss of a splendid and efficient mother. They include Mrs. Ida Cool, Mrs. Anna Driver and Mrs. Clara Shoemaker, all of Jackson township; S. J. Leedy, H. A. Leedy and J. H. Leedy, all of Bath township.

Lima relatives have received word of the death Sunday in Paris, Calif. of Clyde Leffel, 65, a former resident here. Surviving are his widow, Sadie; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Lida) Beggs, of Lima, and Miss Alberta Leffel, Paris, Calif., a son Granville in California and his father Phillip Leffel of Lima. Services and burial will be in California.

Louise Leilich
Mrs. Louise Leilich, 55 years of age, wife of H. L. Leilich, president and general manager of the Delphos manufacturing company, passed from life yesterday at her home on east Fifth street in Delphos. She had suffered for months. Last Friday her condition became much worse. She well well known in Lima.
Mrs. Leilich, on May 10, received internal injuries in an automobile accident near Lima, and a foreign growth later developed. She underwent an operation in February of last year at Flower hospital in Toledo, but was afforded only temporary relief.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Werner, deceased and was born in Delphos on March 20, 1860. She was married to Henry L. Lellich on October 30, 1884. Clarence J. Leilich, secretary of the Delphos Manufacturing company is the only surviving child of four born to this couple.
Mrs. Leilich was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the church. The Rev. P. G. Bergener, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Danecker, of Ft. Wayne, will officiate. The body will be laid to rest in Walnut cemetery. The casket will not be opened at the church and friends who wish, may view the remains at the residence before the funeral.

Jacob Leis
Jacob Leis, 71, died of dropsy at 1 a.m. Firday in his home in Jay-co, Ind. He was former resident of Lima and had worked as yard man for the Solar Refinery. Surviving are the widow, Jennie, four sons, George of Ft. Recovery, and Arthur, Waldo and Herman, of Lima, a daughter, Mrs. Freda Marsman, of San Francisco; two brothers, John and George, of Spencerville, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Purdy, who lives near Spencerville. The body will be brought to the home of Walter Leis, 987 Brice-av, Saturday. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the First Federated church at Spencerville.

Amos Lippencott
The demise of one of the oldest residents of the county occurred last night at 9:15 o'clock, when Amos Lippencott passed away at the the home of his son William, about five miles east of the city along the Erie railroad. The deceased was 79 years old and death was due to a complication of diseases. The funeral service will be held from the Perry Chapel church Thursday the cortege leaving the house at 10 o'clock. Interment will take place in the Perry Chapel cemetery.

The body of Mrs. E. G. Longsworth, mother of the late Taylor Longsworth, who died Wednesday at her home in McKittrick, California, arrived in Lima this afternoon and was taken to the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Taylor Longsworth, 1316 west Market street. Funeral services will be held at the Longsworth home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in Woodlawn cemetery.

Christopher Miller Lonney
Christopher Miller Lonney, 58, farmer, died at his homo five miles northeast of Lima Wednesday at 4:30 a. m. Death was caused by a stroke of paralysis. In addition to the widow he is survived by n son, Charles and a daughter, Josephine, at home. Two brothers, John and William Lonney, of Bath-tp, also survive. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p. at the Church of Christ in Beaverdam. The Rev. Wolford, of Bluffton, will officiate. Burial will be In Woodlawn cemetery.

Bernice May Lora
Mrs. Bernice May Lora, 21, wife of Neal Lora, 22 Terrace Court, died at the City hospital Saturday, due to an operation. She was the daughter of Jason Baxter, who died a short time ago. The husband, mother end a son of a year survive. She was born in Grover Hill, but had spent her early girlhood in Lima and had a wide circle of friends. Funeral services will be held Monday at two o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Rev. John Keehley, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn.

Josephine Lovett
The death of Miss Josephine Lovett has caused deep sorrow among the wide circle which has known of the disease slowly sapping life, and witnessed her fortitude and cheerfulness under the shadow of a known doom. A member of St. Rose parish, she was before her illness active in the work of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John, and in the L.C.B.A. Born in Lima she resided here all her life, and leaves two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Lyons and Mrs. Joseph Reed, and one brother, James A. Lovett now in the governmental service at Manilla. The funeral will be held from St. Rose Saturday morning at 8:30, with interment in Gethsemani cemetery.
