Frank J. Zanone
Rev. Knox, pastor of the Market Street Presbyterian Church, conducted funeral services at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning for Frank J. Zanone, late manager of the Regent theater who died Sunday. Many members of the Elks lodge, Woodman of the World and Kiwanis club, with which Mr. Zanone was affiliated, attended the services. Interment was made in Woodlawn cemetery.

Opal Mae Zerbe
Lafayette -- Opal Mae Zerbe, 87 died a 7:32 a.m. April 8, 2001 at her daughter's residence.She was born June 21, 1918 in Celina Mercer Co, OH to Jess Shepherd and Grace Chambers. She married on Nov 12, 1930 to Ralph C. Zerbe Sr., who died Nov 24, 1991. Mrs Zerbe owned Country Side Stitch and Sew. She had worked with her husband at Zerbe's Paint and Wallpaper Store. She was a member of Lafayette Congregational Christian Church. Women's Followship;Federation of Women's Club and the Allen County Republican Party. She was past President of the Women's Republican Club. She was a former member and past president of Business and Professional Women, West Central Ohio Ouilt Guild, Crafty Quilters Club,and Town and Country Quilt Club. She was a former member of Jackson Grange and Tri-County Club of Ohio. Survivors include a son Ralph C. Zerbe Jr.and special friend Mary Jane);a daughter Shirley ( William) Roeder of Lima:a sister Arbula ( Billie ) Greeno of Findlay, OH nephew and care giver Terry Lowe of Lima: 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren Services will be at 11:00a.m. at Chiles and Sons Lamen Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. The Rev. Robert Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Lafayette Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ralph Clifford Zerbe Sr
LAFAYETTE Ralph C. Zerbe Sr, 85 of here died at his residence . He was born Sept 28, 1906 in Lima to John and Alice Harris Zerbe. On Nov 12, 1930 he married Opal Shepherd who survives. Mr Zerbe was the owner of Zerbe's Paint and Wallpaper. He was a member of the Lafayette Congregational Christian Church and the Republican Party. Other survivors include one son Ralph C. Zerbe Jr of Lima; and one daughter Mrs William ( Shirley) Roeder of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren;one;one brother Raymond Zerbe of Summersville, S.C.; two sisters Mary Craig of Lima and Bonnie Skinner of Warysville, Wash. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles and Sons-Laman Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Lafayette Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lafayette Congregational Christian Church.

Margaret Alice Zimmerman
A two-day illness ended in death early Thursday for Mrs. Margaret Alice Zimmerman, 79, widow of Henry Zimmerman, a former Lima restaurant proprietor who died 39 years ago. Mrs. Zimmerman resided with her daughter, Mrs. Carl Means, at 855 W. Market-st and passed away at 2 p.m. Thursday. A heart attack was given as the immediate cause of death. She was born at Dayton and is survived besides Mrs. Means, by a sister, Mrs. Hattie Lenhard, Baton Rouge, La., and several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of Harry Thomas, recently deceased Lima grocer and Elmer Thomas, a member of the former Thomas and Evans Hardware firm. Rites will be from the residence of her daughter at 2 p.m. Saturday in charge of Rev. Rueben Schroer, pastor of the First Evangelical Reformed church of which she was a lifelong member. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery.
