Elsass, Charles F - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Umbaugh and Bayliff funeral home, Cridersville. The Rev. E.J. Penhorwood, pastor of the South Side Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.

Andrews, Frank - Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Methodist Protestant church of Waynesfield. The Rev. L.A. Bangerter and the Rev. C.E. Spaulding will officiate, burial in Walnut Hill cemetery, east of New Hampshire.

Candler, John W - Last rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lantz Funeral Home, Ada. Interment will be in a cemetery near Waynesfield. The body will remain at the mortuary until time of burial.

Funeral services for Garrett Sampson, 86, of St. Marys, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Allen Grove chapel in St. Marys. Burial in Elm Grove cemetery. He died Friday about 3 p.m. after an illness of two weeks.

WAYNESFIELD, Jan. 3 — Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday for Mrs. Amos Cook, 63, a native of Waynesfield who died at her home here Monday following a lengthy illness. Services will be held in the Weygandt funeral home with Rev. L. A. Shappington officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont cemeterv. Mrs. Cook Is survived by her widower. Amos; one «on, William, Lima Route 5: a foster daughter, Mrs. Mae Cooper, Muskegon , Mich. ; four brothers. Frank Bailey, Wayne sfield; George Bailey. Rosewood: Guern and Chris Bailey, Lima , and eight grandchildren.

WAPAKONETA, April 2 —The body of A. F. Steinkcm, 55, farmer living about eight miles south-east of here, was found hanging from a rafter in a barn at his home early Thursday morning. Dr. Alfred Veit, county coroner, returned a verdict of death due to strangulation by hanging, and said he had learned the farmer had been in ill health for about five months. Funeral services, in charge of Heinl Bros, and Son, will be held at 9 a. m. Monday in St. John's Catholic church, Fryburg, with Rev. John Tebbe in charge. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday in the Church of God for Dewey Hower, 44, of Westminster , who died Thursday in Memorial hospital. Rev. C. L. Quinn and Rev. H. C. Carpenter) will conduct the services and burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery, east of New Hampshire . Hower is survived by his wife,
Alta; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hower of Lewistown; six brothers, John and Corwin of
Limn, Ray and Emery of Bellefontaine, and Lewis and William of Lewistown. The  body will remain at the

residence until time of services.

Final rites will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday in a Waynesfield funeral home for Herbert Baker, three-months, who died Thursday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Baker, in Waynesfield. In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandfathers. Greley Baker of Allensville and Lisha Palmer of Wellston. Rev. J. A. Shirer will conduct the services and burial will be in Willow Branch cemetery.  

Funeral   services   for   Alois T. Steinke. 58, who  ended his Iife early Thursday morning by hanging himself in the barn at his home six miles southeast of here near Fryburg, will be held at 9 a. m. Monday in Fryburg St. Johns Catholic church with Rev. Lawrence Tebbe officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns cemetery. Dr. Alfred Veit, who was called, Thursday returned a suicide verdict. Members of his family gave despondency over ill health as the reason for the act. Surviving are the widow, Clara; two sons;, Frederick , of near Bradford, and Jerome, in the U. S. Army; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Baker, of near Botkins, and Georgianna, at home; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Koenig, of near Botkins, and two brothers, Henry, of near Botkins. and  Anthony of Kansas.

MINSTER, April 3 — Funeral services will be held in St. Augustine church Monday at 10:30 a. m. for Mrs. Josephine Busse, 73, widow of Frank Busse, veteran Minster businessman, who died early Thursday a half-hour after suffering a heart attack. Rev. Theodore Koenn will have charge and interment will be made in the church burial ground. Her husband, whom she married in 1887, died in 1936. Nine children survive, along with eight grandchildren, and five brothers and sisters.

MINSTER, April 9 — Funeral services for John B. Dwcnger, 62, a native of St. Rose in Mercer-co and a resident here many years before going to Ft. Loramie to live with a sister in 1935, will be held in St. Augustine's Catholic church here at 9 a. in. Friday. Rev. Theodore Koenn will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Funeral services for Ruth Marie Ott, infant daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Ott, residing in the Olive Branch district, will be held at 9 a. m., Saturday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic church, Botkins, with the Rev. Fr. Henry Lammers officiating. She died Wednesday morning following an illness of three months. Surviving are her parents one sister, Rosemary and one brother, Bernard. Mr. and Mrs. David Tester, W. Mechanic-st, this city, paternal grandparents of the child, also survive.

ST. MARYS._ Aug. 25—Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Yoder funeral home for Samuel N. Blakeley, 70. who died of a heart attack Saturday after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, and six children. Mrs. T. G. Logan.
Sidney, RoIIand Blakeley, St. Marys, Philip Blakeley. Detroit,. Lt. Luther D. Blakeley. Southwest Pacific. Mrs. Harold Glick. Celina, and Mrs. John R. Adams. St. Marys. There are four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two brothers are Bert of Blanchester and John Blakeley of Elyria, 0. Burial in Elmgrove cemetery.

Names of the men who will serve as pallbearers for Frank R. Failor, 62, of 1122 St. Johns--av, who died early Friday in Memorial hospital, were announced Saturday. They will ho Robert Failor. Francis Failor. Melvin Alexander, Hillis Failor. Harry M. Smith and Howard Miller.

Final rites will be held at 2:30 the Lewis Chapel with Rev. C. L.Quinn in charge. Burial will be in  Fairmount cemetery. east of Lima . The body will remain at the Bellefontaine-av funeral home. 
He is survived In* his wife. Hannah: three sons, Allen-co Recorder W. F. Failor of Route 2. Dr. H. F. Failor of 206 S. West-st. R. E. Failor of Route 6. a sister, Mrs. Louise Ridenour of Route 2, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

ST. MARYS — Mrs.   Julia Burd  Botkin, 51, wife of Levi Both in, died Tuesday from  acute   Bright's disease. She had spent hot entire life in this community. Mrs. Botkln is survived by her husband and four children.
