Nellie Piper
CELINA - Nellie Piper, 90, of here, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday at Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford.
She was born Dec 24, 1890 in Mercer County, the daughter of Wilson and Rachel (Harter) Piper.
Miss Piper was a former owner of the White Mountain Cream Station, Neptune, and a retired practical nurse. She was a member of the Neptune Church of God.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jessie Young of Celina. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at W.H. Dick and Sons Funeral Home, Celina, Rev. Ralph Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. [Lima News, Jan 17, 1981]

Oreal Piper
CELINA- Oreal Piper, 88, died at 2 am. Sunday at his home.
Born March 1, 1892, in Mercer County, he was the son of Wilson and Rachel (Harter) Piper. He married Edna Drury who survives.
Mr. Piper was a retired school teacher. Survivors also include two sons, seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nellie Piper and Jesse Young both of Celina. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Wednesday at W H. Dick and Son funeral home. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 pm Tuesday. [Lima News, Oct 6, 1980]

Robert L. Piper
ST. MARYS - Robert L. Piper, 69, of Muncie, Ind.. was dead on arrival at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday at Coldwater Community Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He was born on April 30, 1915, in Walla Walla, Wash., the son of Archer and Dora (Pifer) Piper. On Sept. 18, 1943, he married Frances E. Botkin, who survives. Mr. Piper retired in 1975 as a dispatcher for the Norfolk and Western Railroad. He was a member of Gcthsemane United Methodist Church in Muncie. He served with the U.S. Navy during World II. Survivors also include a brother, Lester A Piper of Dayton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Yoder-Long and Folk Funeral Home. Rev. H. Hoyt Brown officiating. Darci Marie Place
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville for Darci Marie Place, infant daughter of Mark and Kelly (Frese) Place, who survive in Wapakoneta. She was stillborn at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at St Rita's Medical Center.
Survivors also include one sister, maternal grandparents, Norman and Nadine Frese of Lima; maternal great-grandfather, Harold Perry of Wapakoneta; paternal grandparents, Loren (Rex) and Patricia Place of Wapakoneta; and maternal great-grandparents, Pearl and Isabelle Place of Wapakoneta. Carl W. Presar
WAPAKONETA - Funeral services for Carl W. Presar, 84, formerly of Route 6, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bayliff flt Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, Rev. Eugene Wetzel officating. Mr. Presar died at 10:15 p.m. Monday at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
Born Oct. 9, 1898, in Auglaize County, he was the son of Charles and Catherine George Presar. He married Beulah Geraldine Emnck on June 20, 1923, and she died on Jan. 14, 1967. Mr. Presar was a farmer, a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and a life member of the American Aberdeen Angus Association. Survivors include three sons, C. Kenneth Presar of Charlotte, N.C., Richard Deane Presar of Mount Clemens, Mich., and Lt. Col. Don Lynn Presar of Fairfax, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (June Elaine) Garrett of Crossville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Harold J. Presar
WAPAKONETA - Harold J. Presar, 60. died at 7:05 am. Sunday at his home following an extended illness. He was a farmer. Born March 23. 1915. in Auglaize County, he was a son of David and Caroline Lunz Presar. On May 9, 1935, he married Ruth Stinebaugh, who survives. Survivors also include a son. Bert of Rt. 2; a daughter. Mrs. Mike (Nancy) Westbay of Waterville; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Orville (Florence) Ruck of here; and three brothers. Emil of Rt. 2, Melvin of Los Angeles, Calif., and Howard of Van Wert.
He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Services will be at 10 30 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Rev. Harold Thiedt officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mary K. Presar
WAPAKONETA - Mrs. Mary K. Presar, 87, died at 11 a.m. Sunday in her home. Born April 10, 1887, in Auglaize County, she was a daughter of William and Elizabeth Schroeder Brautigam. On Sept. 27, 1910, she married Henry F. Presar, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Pauline Presar, at home.
She was a life member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild of the church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Siferd Funeral Home, Rev. Harold Thiedt officiating. Viola Presar
WAPAKONETA - Viola Presar, 76, died at 4:40 a.m. Sunday at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 7, 1904, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Fred and Balbina Gehert Seitz. On Nov. 21,1922, she married Edwin Presar, who died June 8,1970.
Mrs. Presar was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Elinor Jane) Hemmelgam of Dayton; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Hubert (Alvina) Zimmerman and Mrs. T.W. (Edna) Burgoon, both of Wapakoneta. Services will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul United Chnrch of Christ, Pastor Harold Thiedt officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Henry Balster officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. He was born Nov 1, 1869, in Minster. He died at noon Friday following an extended illness due to complications of diseases.
