The Ann Rogers Clark Chapter of Jeffersonville of which Miss Gannet H. Whiteside is regent has taken over from the city an abandoned graveyard which was used as a city dump. Here were buried several Revolutionary soldiers. The chapter fenced in the tract of land, erected a flagpole, bought a flag and has a fund established to pay for the upkeep of the cemetery. The chapter is also trying to show a farmer near Charleston that he is no true patriot when he plows over the grave of Col. John Armstrong, Revolutionary soldier, one of whose descendents is in the chapter. The grave is on his newly acquired land.  [Hamilton Daily News, Jan 10, 1920]
