Statutory Cause Alleged by Emma Linerode in Petition Asking Divorce From Her Husband.
Emma Linerode yesterday filed her petition In the court of common pleas praying for a divorce from her husband, Joseph M. Linerode. She states she was married on or about November 26, 1896 at Carrollton, Ohio. She charges her husband with committing adultery for monthd prior to June 25, 1906, upon divers times with one Blanch Murry at her residence in Canton. She says her husband has been guilty of extreme cruelty; that in 1898 he knocked her over a chair; that in 1904 he beat and struck her, called her vile and indecent names, too vile to set forth in her petition. She asked for, and Judge Ambler granted a temporary restraining order to prevent the husband from interfering with his wife or entering upon the premises, W.O. Werniz, attorney for wife.
