ALFRED
W. "BUTCH" DAILEY
Alfred
W."Butch" Dailey, age 44, of Claibourne St. East Liverpool,
Ohio passed away at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Saturday,
March 5, 2005. He had been ill since July of last year.
He
was born in East Liverpool on December 3, 1960, the son of JoAnne
(Snyder) Dailey of East Liverpool and the late Albert Dailey.
Alfred had lived most of his life in this area, working in Maintenance
with the Dynatech Floor Cleaning Co. and prior to that he worked as a
Landing Man with the Grimm Rivertowing. He was a graduate of the
Salliasaw High School in Oklahoma. Alfred enjoyed camping,
playing bingo and watching deer graze in the area.
Survivors
include his wife, Elma K. (Plum) Dailey, whom he married on July 26,
2004. Three sons, Todd Hawthorne, Brandon Plum, and Jeremy Keyes all
of East Liverpool. One daughter, Amanda Keyes of East Liverpool, One
brother, Gerald A. Dailey and his wife, Jonla, of East Rochester,
Ohio, three sisters, Mary Dailey Johnson and her husband, Jack, and
Brenda Dailey James and her husband, Jessie, both of Neodesha, Ks.,
and Teresa Dailey of East Liverpool. Three grandchildren, Kourtni
Gregory at Home and Morgan Bates and Shane Hawthorne both of East
Liverpool. And several nieces and nephews.
In
addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard
Dailey.
Services
will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer
Funeral Homes on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 1:30 pm with Stanley
Neuenschwander of the Hebron Conservative Mennonite Church,
officiating. Burial will follow in the United Presbyterian Cemetery of
Calcutta.
Friends
may call at the Calcutta on Tuesday, March 8, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 6
