MARY GILLETTE

Funeral services for Mary Gertrude Gillette, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Frederick T. Gillette, 218 W. Fourth St., will be held Tuesday at 2  p. m. in the St. Steven's Episcopal Church.  The Rt. Rev. Nelson M. Burroughs of Cleveland, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio, will officiate.  The 8 year old child died Saturday morning in her home.

The body will be taken to Lyons, N. Y. , Wednesday for burial Thursday in the Rural Cemetery there.  Friends may call tonight at the Dawson Funeral Home.

MARGARET GISHBAUGHER

DARLINGTON, July 31 (Special)-- Mrs. Margaret Gishbaugher, widow of Michael Gishbaugher, died at 7L15 a.m. Sunday in her home here.

She was born Feb. 13, 1866, in Cannelton, Pa., a daughter of James and Katherine Braheny.  Her husband died in 1919.

Services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Rose's Catholic Church at Cannelton.  Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery at East Palestine.

Former City Widow Killed

Mrs. Nina Givens Dies After Injury by Car

Mrs. Nina Margaret Givens, 78, of Youngstown, widow of John B. Givens and a former resident of East Liverpool, died Tuesday at 7:10 p.m. in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Youngstown, from injuries suffered four hours earlier when struck by an automobile.

Mrs. Givens, who resided at 45 East Indianola Ave, North Side, suffered a fractured skull and a crushed chest.

A daughter of Benjamin and Martha Blair, she was born in Marietta in 1872 and lived in Bellaire before coming to East Liverpool.  She resided in Youngstown the past two years.

She leaves three sons Joseph Givens and Samuel Givens of East Liverpool, and Raymond Givens of Rogers, a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Conti of Youngstown, and several grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Fortunato Funeral Home in Youngstown Burial will be in Bellaire. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

RICHARD GRIFFITH

LISBON, July 17 (Special)-- Richard Thomas Griffith or Mantus, a former local resident, died Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Ravenna Hospital following a short illness.  He was 73.

Born in Bluefield, Wales, Jan. 12, 1877, a son of John and Caroline Williams Griffith, he came to this country when 6.  He lived here many years, going to Cleveland about 35 years ago.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Griffith and Paul Griffith, both of Cleveland; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Tyjeski of Mantua; two brothers, George Griffith of St. Clairsville, and William Griffith of Icondale; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Young and Mrs. Carrie Elliott, both of Hammondsville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Birchfield of Toronto, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. from the Eells-Leggett Funeral Home here by Rev. C. F. Kenneweg, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.

MRS. NELLIE GUEST

NEW WATERFORD, July 18 (Special)--  Mrs. Nellie Larrimer Guest, widow of William Guest died this morning in Salem City Hospital where she was a patient for seven weeks with a fractured hip.  She was 77.

A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ingler, she was born in Steubenville, Oct. 5, 1872.  She was married in 1892 to Harry Larrimer and following his death, to William Guest, who died in 1946.

Her only survivor is a niece, Mrs. Carl Klein of New Waterford, with whom she made her home the past six years.  She was a member of the New Waterford Presbyterian Church.

Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p. m. from the Warrick Funeral Home in Columbiana by Rev. Samuel Marshall of New Waterford.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Steubenville.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and night.

MRS. LARKIN (MARTHA) GUNSAULEY

Mrs. Martha Gunsauley, 45, wife of Larkin Gunsauley of Huntington, W. Va., and a former resident of Midland, died Saturday afternoon in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Gunsauley leaves three sons, Robert Gunsauley of Huntington, and Frank Gunsauley and Thomas Gunsauley at home; two daughters, Mrs. Pete Honaker of Huntington, and Sara Gunsauley at home; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Standley of East Liverpool; a sister, Mrs. Hallie Simms of East Liverpool; three brothers, Frank Standley of Aliquippa, Wallace Standley of Beaver, and Willis Standley of East Liverpool, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning in Huntington. Burial will be there.
