JOHN
LONGFELLOW
John
Longfellow, former employee of the Crucible Steel Co. in Midland, died
this morning at his home near Cook's Ferry following a long
illness. He was 66.
Mr.
Longfellow had been a foreman in the Electrical Department.
The
body was removed to the Stewart Funeral Home at Hookstown. Arrangements
are incomplete.

Special
funeral services for John G. Longfellow, 68, who died Friday morning at
his home in Cook's Ferry, will be held Sunday night at the late home by
the Odd Fellows Lodge of Midland. Burial
services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. from the late home by Rev. T.
Duane Stewart, pastor of the midland Methodist Church. Burial will
be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends
mays call at the Stewart Funeral Home in Hookstown tonight and at the
late home after 10 a. m. Sunday. The
former turn foreman of the Electrical Department of the Crucible Steel
Co., at Midland is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Arnold Johnson of
Akron, Mrs. Floyd Sberman of Houlton, Me., Miss Mary Longfellow of
Dayton; two sons, Technical Sergeant George M. Longfellow of the U. S.
Marine Corps and Harry Longfellow at home; a sister, Miss
Anna B. Longfellow of Gardiner, Me., and nine
grandchildren. Mr.
Longfellow was a member of the Midland Odd Fellows and was a past
deputy, a member of the Past Grand Association of Beaver County
and the Rebekah Lodge.

Funeral
service for John G. Longfellow, 66 were to be held today at 2 p.m. from
the late home in Cook's Ferry by Rev. T. Duane Stewart of the Midland
Methodist Church. Burial was to be in Columbiana County Memorial
Park. He
leaves his widow, four daughters, three sons, including Elmer Longfellow
of Akron, and nine grandchildren.
