Grace Anna Schieferdecker Fano, 81, of Garfield Heights, Ohio, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001.
She was born Sept. 20, 1918, in Schuyler County, to Fred Joseph and Anna Marie Doris Miller Schieferdecker.
She graduated from Rushville High School. She taught school a few years near Rushville. Then, she worked at the Rushville Telephone office for several years.
She married Calvin Fano, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Elmer, Loren, and Roy; and two sisters, Lena Green and Edith Anderson.
Survivors include two sons, James and Martin; one daughter, Joan; a sister-in-law, Erma Schieferdecker; and a nephew, Don (wife Anna Marie) Schieferdecker of Rushville; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was accorded and a memorial service will be held later in Ohio

Obit: Ira Henderson, 86, passed away at 6 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the 
family residence 1690 Eighth avenue drive. His death followed  a lingering 
illness. Mr. Henderson had lived here for several years and was well known. In 
addition to his widow, he is survived by one son, F. L. Henderson of Pasadena, 
California and two daughters, Mrs. A. H. Van Valkenburg of Chagrin Falls, Ohio 
and Mrs. J. N. Rowe of Bradenton. The body will be shipped tonight via the 
Seabord Air Line Cleveland, Ohio for internment. It will be accompanied by Mrs. 
Henderson and Mrs. Rowe. The Wakeman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

carving and building military figures and historic ships. In college he was a 
member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. A veteran of World War II, he served 
in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division. Upon completion of his military duty, 
he was an industrial manufacturer's representative. My Gygli is survived by his 
daughter, Lynn Gygli (Ian) MacDougall, of Boca Raton, Fla.; sister Marcia Gygli 
King, of San Antonio, Texas; and grandchildren Colin Boyd and Meghan Rae MacDougall, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Justin Cory-Glass, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He 
was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. Sr. and Ruth (nee Farr) Gygli; 
and his children, Robert P. Gygli III and Karen Mambert Gygli-Glass. A memorial 
service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Federated Church, 76 Bell St.,

September 20, 2004. Walt graduated from Case Western Reserve University after 
serving his country in the United States Navy in World War II. He retired from 
the Burndy Corporation in 1988 and then spent his time as a devout Christian, 
who gladly served his Lord, avid boater, wordworker, banjo player, and was 
everyone's friend. He spent most of his time as a member of the Dallas Banjo 
Band and enjoyed all kinds of music. He is preceded in death by his wife 
Jacqueline Grugle; Survived by his mate Joyce Lacy, brother and sister-in-law 
Jack and Arlene Grugle, sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Jack Cammarn, daughter Susan Hickman, son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Bonnie Grugle, Son and 
daughter-in-law Timothy and Denice Grugle, daughter and son-in-law Anna and 
Chris Welch and son and daughter-in-law Scott and Ping Lacy, and 12 beautiful 
grandchildren. We will all miss his big blue eyes, sweet smile, and loving 
nature. We will always love him and his memory will forever be in our hearts.

Winona Lake, Ind.; a brother, Lewis (Janice), Edgerton; and a sister, Mrs. Don 
(Nancy) Hook, Butler, Ind. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Zion Lutheran 
Church, near Edgerton, with Pastor Chris Sigmon officiating. Burial will be in
