   Eagle Furnace Property Sold -- Street Railroad -- Indicted for Murder.

   Gallipolis, November 10. -- The Eagle furnace property, situated on the line of the railroad now building between here and the Marietta crossing, and embracing -- six thousand acres of valuable ore and coal deposits, and which was owned by William Shober, C. W. Henking, P. A. Sands and Wellington Hawkins, of this city, was this day sold, and conveyance executed to James A. Simmons, for the sum of $40,000 cash.

   Captains John A. Hamilton and Jas. McClurg are taking the preliminary steps for the construction of a street railroad in this city, to run the lengths of Second and Third streets and connect with the railroad depot, a distance of about two miles.

   William Lane, who shot Joshua Brothers, on the evening of October 15th, was indicted by the Grand Jury of the Common Pleas Court, now in session, for murder in the second degree.
