Paul J. Craft, 66, passed away Jan. 7, 1992.
Mr. Craft was born in Gallia County, Ohio, on Sept. 23, 1925. He was a line serviceman for Ohio Edison for 40 years, retiring in 1990. He had served in the U.S. Navy Armed Guard, was past commander of VFW Desert Storm 7971, past vice president of Manchester Lions Club, a member of Coventry Lodge 665, was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of Eastern Star. He was also a member of Akron Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Frances; son, Edward Craft daughter, Gail (Randy) Broadwater; mother, Clara Craft; brothers and wives Allen and Kathleen, James and Laura Jean, Robert and Geraldine, Melvin and Donna; grandsons, Jeffrey and Brian Broadwater; brother-in-law and wife Gerald and Dawn Weese; sister-in-law and husband, Mary and Ron Wood; sister-in-law, Martha Weese; dear friends, Austin and Susie Ramsey; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and one hour prior to service time at the Akron Baptist Temple on FriDAY, at 1 p.m., with Dr. Charles Billington and Dr. Paul Outland officiating. Masonic service will be ThursDAY, evening at 7. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
