Eve Denbrook, 74, 2718 Belmont Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, in United Hospital.

Eve Mae Carter was born May 28, 1921, in Gallipolis, Ohio, the daughter of Emory Earl and Alice (Cooper) Carter. She graduated in 1940 from Gallia High School, Gallipolis, studied at the Columbus (Ohio) School of Business and was a secretary at Ohio State University for four years. She married Myron Denbrook Jr. April 14, 1945, in Columbus. They lived in Seattle, Pullman and Walla Walla, Wash., and in 1947, came to Grand Forks, where he became a partner in Wells and Denbrook, Architects. She worked in that office until 1952.

She worked extensively planning the Myra Museum complex, collecting and displaying exhibits for the Campbell House and Myra Museum on behalf of the Grand Forks Historical Society; served on the board of directors and was a tour guide for many years and was a member of the Craft Guild. Her affiliation with the Federated Church includes teaching Sunday school, guild officer and chairwoman of the wedding reception committee.

She is survived by her husband; son, Myron ''Mark'' III, Hibbing, Minn.; and brother, John Paul Carter, Columbus.

Services:10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Federated Church.

Visitation:4 to 7 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, in Amundson Funeral Home, and one hour before services in the church. An Eastern Star service will be at 4:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Federated Church.

Burial:Gallipolis, Ohio.
