Born in Gallia County, Mrs. Harvey resided in Wadsworth seven years previously residing in Delaware, Ohio, and Akron. She was a purchasing agent at the Columbus General Depot, retiring in 1964, and was the first president of the Fairborn Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by husband, E. Carl; son, Emerson Gamble of Savannah, Ga.; daughter, Wilma Grody of Dayton; stepsons, Eddie and Leon Harvey, both of Akron, Terry Harvey of Norton; stepdaughter, Donelda Bailey of Norton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bessie Glazer of California, Katie Lower of Illinois.

The family will receive friends Sunday, 7 to 8 p.m., at the Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Services will be Monday, 1 p.m., at Millcreek Cemetery in Delaware, Ohio.
