Winifred P. Strausbaugh, 92, Grand Forks, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1993, in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks.

Winifred Prithilla Russel was born July 18, 1900. She graduated from Rio Grande (Ohio) College in education and taught elementary school in Gallia, Ohio. She married Dwight Strausbaugh, May 31, 1921.

Survivors are her husband; son, James, both of Grand Forks; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two great-great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Sylvia Walker and Eveline McLeish.

Services: Were held in Columbus, Ohio. Memorials may be sent to Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks.

Burial: Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Ohio.
