BYRON "BARNEY" CLIFFORD YELTON SR., 83, of Tampa died Friday in Tampa. A native of Gallia, Ohio, he moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1951 and owned and operated several businesses in the Tampa Bay area. He was am elder emeritus, past chairman of the Board and Deacon of the First Christian Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge 808 F.& A.M. in Fort Thomas, Ky. He is survived by his wife, Louise A.; three sons, Byron C. Jr., Charles D. and Robert B., and three daughters, Barbara A. Banks, Linda L. Pupello and Nancy Cunningham, all of Tampa; a brother, Marvin of Lincolnton, N.C.; three sisters, Vickie Rachford of Tampa, Dorothea Marshall of Milford, Ohio, and Geneva Wright of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
