DIED at Cincinnati, on the 13th inst. the Reverend Doctor TRUMAN BISHOP, of the Methodist Episcopal Church, after a protracted illness, in which he suffered much bodily affiction. Doctor Bishop was a man of the most exemplary piety; of great learning; an eminent preacher, and an amiable and useful citizen in private life.

[Mr. Tucker was a man of kind disposition, soft and retiring manners, sober, honest, industrious, neat and methodical both in his dress and business, and with at a 'liberal']

DIED, In this city on Saturday evening last, after a long and painful illness, GEN. EDWARD KING, an able, eloquent and distinguished member of the Cincinnati Bar, and formerly Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Legislature of this State. His loss is a severe affliction both to his family and the public. He lived beloved, and died lamented. -- Cincinnati Whig, Feb. 8.

We willingly insert the proceedinigs of the Bar of Chillicothe, on the death of GEN. EDWARD KING, conforming as we do with the feelings of the whole community, in which he was generally known and highly esteemed.

Cincinnati, June 21.-A. telegram from Warm Springs, Va., announces the death yesterday at that place of Mrs. Catharine Longworth Anderson, widow of the late Lars Anderson, Sr. She was the daughter of N1cholas Longworth, Sr. and the mother of the late Colonel Nick Anderson of Washington City
