Stephen E. Chochran
TIFFIN --- Stephen E. Chochran, 41, formerly of West Township Road 58, Tiffin, died on natural causes at 9:21 a.m. Sunday at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton, where he had been a resident for six years.
He was born May 14, 1949 in Tiffin to John A. and Geraldine (Altman) Chochran Sr. His father and step-mother survive in rural Tiffin and his mother resides in Findlay.
Also surviving is a brother, John A. Jr. of rural Tiffin.
Mr. Chochran was an administrator for the State of Ohio. He graduated in 1967 form Mohawk High School, Sycamore, and 1971 from Heidelberg College, Tiffin. He was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church, Tiffin.
Fuenral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hannay-Nemeth Mortuary, Tiffin, the Revs. Geraldine Burchett and Steve Umphress officiating. Geraldine M. Altman Cochran
Funeral services for Geraldine M. Cochran, 60, of 416 E. Lima St., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Coldren-crates Funeral Home, The Rev. Wayne Baldridge officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cochran died at 3:35 p.m. Sunday at Fox Run Manor.
She was born Nov. 2, 1931 in Bloomville to Alfred and Elizabeth (Wahrer) Altman. She married John Cochran, and they were divorced.
Surviving are a son, John Jr. of Tiffin; and three sisters, Mrs. Larry (Sandra) Kuntz and Mrs. Leaughny (Joan) McCann, both of Bloomville; and Mrs. Edward (Marge) Ekleberry, Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen.

FINDLAY , Feb. 6 - Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in the Portage Chapel church for Thomas Finney (Finn) Cochrel, 86-year-old retired Portage-tp farmer who died Wednesday at the home of Claude Westenbarger, North Baltimore, from a heart disease. Mr. Cochrel, a native of Coshocton, had lived in Hancock-co 59 years. He was married 65 years ago to Adeha M. Jewell, who survives with two sons. Dr. Dietrich Worthman, McComb minister, will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in Thomas cemetery, Portage-tp.[Lima News, Feb 6, 1941]
