James Lee Victory
RAWSON -- James Lee Victory, 64, died at 3:45 a.m. Feb. 5, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 28, 1946, in Bluffton to James and Dorothy Burkholder Victory, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 8, 1965, he married his wife, who survives.
Mr. Victory was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1964 to 1970. He was a construction worker.
Survivors also include a son, three daughters, 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two brothers. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Victory.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at his residence. [Lima News, Feb 9, 2010]
Edward T. Vickers
Edward T. Vickers died in Grand Junction, Colo., October 12, at the age of 83 years. He was born in Hancock county, Ohio. He married Lorina Roller, and they lived in Denver, Colo., before coming to Eugene in 1907. They returned to Grand Junction, Colo., in 1920 where he resided until his death. Mr. Vickers was a member of the Methodist church, in Colorado. Besides his widow, he is survived by 3 children, Mrs. Harry Devereaux, Eugene, Don Vickers, Grand Junction, and Virgil Vickers, Seattle, Wn., a sister, Mrs. Emma Hutson, Wenatchee, Wn., and 3 grandchil-dren. Funeral services will be held from the Veatch-Hollingsworth Chanel, Monday, October 18, at 10:30 a. m. Rev. L. O. Griffith officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. No. 1.
