Allen S. Zent
FINDLAY - Allen Sylvester Zent, 93, of 525 W. Lima St., operator of Al's Saw Shop, died in Hancock County Home at 7:50 a.m. Friday. He was ill for three weeks. Born in Warren, Ind., Jan. 1, 1869, he was a son of George and Lydia (Bushong) Zent. He came to Findlay in 1900 from Huntington, Ind. He married Fannie Whiteherst and she died Dec. 7, 1943. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lela Sheater, West Main Cross Road; a son, Chester, 534 Clinton Court; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. Services will be held in the Trautman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. R. W. Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call.
