Evaline Oldaker
Mrs. Evaline Oldaker, 85, widow of the late L. A. Oldaker, died Monday at her home, 117 Haller-st after an eight weeks illness from complications of diseases. She was born near Huntersville, Hardin-co, Aug 7, 1847. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home and at 3 p.m. at the Mohler & Lantz chapel in Ada. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery in Ada. She was the mother of the late Mrs. W. H. Smith, wife of W. H. Smith of Lima, Mrs. Smith died six months ago.

Catherine Ogden
KENTON, Jan. 2 — Mrs. Catherine Ogden, 79, died at 8:30 a. m. Monday at the Hardin-co hospital near here. She was born in Missouri and lived many years of her life in and around Ada. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Maude Mazzula and two granddaughters, all of Englewood , Calif. The body will remain at the Preston funeral home in Ada until time of final rites. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 a. m. Thursday in Our Lady of I Lourdes Catholic church in Ada , with the Rev. William Meyer as celebrant. Burial will be in Ada, Woodlawn cemetery.

Marjorie A. Osborn
Marjorie A. Osborn, 61, died at 1:32 p.m. April 26, 2011, at her residence. She was born Nov. 15, 1949, in Kenton to Frederick and Leona Baum Herbert, who preceded her in death. In 1969, she married Donald Osborn Sr., and they divorced in 1989. Ms. Osborn worked in several jobs in the retail industry, retiring after her last job at Porter House West, Kenton. She was a 1968 graduate of Kenton High School. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Kenton. She had been a member of American Legion Post 198 Auxiliary, Kenton. She was on the Memorial Day Parade planning committee for 17 years. Survivors include two sons, Thomas E. (Brandy) Osborn, of Lima, and Donald R. (Dawn) Osborn Jr., of Arlington; four grandchildren, Brian Osborn, of Kenton, Daniel and Cheyenne Osborn, both of Lima, and Kira Reanne Osborn, of Arlington; two step-grandsons, Donald Wolfenbarger Jr. and Michael Wolfenbarger, both of Kenton; and her special friend, Michael Toby Piper, of Kenton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Herbert, who died Nov. 27, 1963. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. The Rev. Donald Coleman and Pastor Chuck Zweizig will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. The Rev. Donald Coleman and Pastor Chuck Zweizig will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton. Richard J. Osborn
Richard J. Osborn, 85, died the morning of April 30, 2011, at his home. He was born July 8, 1925, in Roundhead to Albert E. and Grace S. Sheets Osborn, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 19, 1943, he married Carolyn “Curley” Fullerton in Huntsville. She survives. Mr. Osborn was a 1943 graduate of Roundhead High School and earned an associate degree in accounting and business management from Northwestern Business College in Lima. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He formerly owned and operated Osborn Hardware and R J Osborn Tax Services, both in Roundhead. He was also a retired postmaster for the post office in Roundhead. Survivors also include a daughter, Dianne Jo Osborn, of Findlay; three sons, Garey R. (Nancy) Osborn, Larry A. Osborn, and Jeffery I. Osborn, all of Roundhead; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Westhafer; and a brother, Byron E. Osborn. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Roundhead Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview

Lonzo Ousley
ALGER — Lonzo Ousley, 70, of Rt.1, died at 11:36 a.m. Thursday in Hardin Memorial Hospital , Kenton, after an extended illness. Born Jan. 9, 1905, in Floyd County , Ky. , he was a son of Daniel H. and Lucinda Ratliff Ousley. He married Josie Prater on Dec. 8„ 1927, and she survives. Also surviving are six daughters, Mrs.. Robert {Stella) Kretz and Mrs. Clyde (Eunice) Conley, both of Rt. 1, Mrs. Carl (Melba) Puckett of McGuffey, Vernie Robinson and Mrs. Gerald ( Judy ) Wireman, both of Kenton, and Mrs. Burt (Lois) Speicher of West Mansfield, three sons; Elmer of Elida, Hager of Defiance and Adice (Bud) of Kenton; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed of North Judson, Ind, and Bill of McArthur; and a sister, Alice Poe of St. Marys. He was a member of Pentecostal Tabernacle Church . Services will be at 1.30 p m. Sunday in Hanson Funeral Home, Rev. George Hurt and Rev. Vaughn Wireman officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery . Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
