Green Township   The 2000 census found 2,585 people in the township, 2,280 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.

Parts of the city of Logan, the county seat of Hocking County, are located in western Green Township. Southeast of Logan lies the unincorporated community of Haydenville.

Churches in Green township include: Ebenezer Church, Fellowship Church, Smith Chapel.

Cemeteries: Haydenville Cemetery, Ebenezer Cemetery, Smith Chapel Cemetery, Fellowship Cemetery, Green Township Cemetery.

Streams, rivers, and creeks: Wolfkiln Run, Fivemile Creek, Oldtown Creek, Monkey Run.

  • Haydenville is an unincorporated community in southern Green Township. Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office with the ZIP code of 43127. It is located along old U.S. Route 33 between Logan and Nelsonville.
