Juanita Fern Landrum Bolen 

Juanita Fern Landrum Bolen, age 88 of Jackson passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her residence.  She was born May 17, 1918 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Scott and Nellie (Foster) Landrum.  She was an accomplished seamstress and retired from Hercules Trouser Company at the age of 79, when the company closed the factory.  She continued to sew and not only for her family and also made hand sewn crafts including purses which she sold, and was ordered by many including orders sent out of state.  She took great pride in her craft and the finished product was always one of a kind, a work of art. 

She is survived by her son Don and Cheryl Bolen, daughter Brenda and Richard Smith and grandson Don Jr. and completing her immediate family circle are Michelle, Kayla and Mike. Also surviving are brothers:  Bill Landrum, Walter Jr. Landrum, Floyd Landrum and Ike Landrum, sisters:  Clara Mae Reed, Mary Reed, Kathleen Foster, Hazel Collins, Charleen Haynes and Eileen Walker. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Paul Landrum, Ivan Landrum and John Landrum;  sisters, Francis Ann Landrum, Freda Lambert and Bernice Sturgill. 

Funeral services were held 1 pm Tuesday, March 27, at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Domigan officiating and burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Friends called from 12 pm up to the time of the funeral service.
