JAMES BUTCHER DIES WEDNESDAY

Long Illness claims well Known Retired Carpenter
Following several months' illness, James H. Butcher, 72, died Wednesday of complications at his home at 292 South street.
Mr. Butcher, a retired carpenter, was well known in Jackson. Although he was a native of Beaver, he had come in Jackson to live several years ago, and had resided here after that time. His death came at 9:00 o'clock Wednesday evening.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife and one son, Emerson and a granddaughter, Imogene, all at home. He also leaves two sisters, Miss Allie Butcher, of Cedarville,o., and Mrs. J. M. Call, of Chillicothe. In addition, he leaves one brother, John Butcher, of London, O.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon, with minister to officiate not yet selected. Burial will follow services at Beaver Union cemetery, under the direction of Davis-Hammerstein funeral service, of Beaver.
