DIED IN MISSOURI

On Saturday morning April 7th Samuel H. Callagan passed away at his farm in Clark County, Missouri. Deceased was a son of the late Benj. Callaghan of the County. He leaves to mourn their loss his beloved wife, one daughter, two grand children, one brother, Levesay Callagan, of this city and Mrs. Martha Hewitt of Indianapolis, Indiania.

He was born Feabruary 9th, 1829 in this county near Cross Roads. He was married to Nancy Powers, eldest daughter of the late Hickman Powers, of near Madison Furnace. After this marriage they resided near here until Sept 1855 when they move overland to Clark County, Missouri where they have since resided.
