Jackson Route 4 Resident Is Buried Wednesday

Thomas Dustin Denny 70, died at his home, Jackson, route 4 Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock after an illness of two years. He had been bedfast for two months.
He was born in Jackson county May 16, 1882, the son of Thomas and Mary Pickeral Denny and lived his entire life in the Pattonsville area.
He was a retired coal miner.
He leaves his wife Mary Frances, whom he married fifty years ago and the follow children; Mrs. Clara Gilkey, Middleport, Mrs. Mabel Gilkey of Jackson, Mrs. Birdie Franklin, Jackson, Fred and George of Jackson; and James of Vinton.
Surviving also are fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Gertrude Gilkey, Jackson and Harry, Charles and Fred Denny of Prattsville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gaskill Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ted Woodard officiating. Interment was in Pattonsville cemetery in charge of the Gaskill Funeral service.
