Lydia Lemoine Ervin

Ervin--Miss Lydia Lemoine Ervin died at the home of her mother in this city Saturday, June 21. Her funeral was held Monday, June 23, and was very largely attended. Rev. G. W. Burns officiated. Miss Ervin was born June 7, 1868, and was the daughter of James L. and Myra Ervin. She was thirty two years of age at her death. She had been in failing health for a number of years, but she had borne all patiently and prolonged her days by her fortitude and indomitable will. Her death is mourned by a host of friends and deeply deplored by all. She leaves a mother, four brothers and two sisters, Mrs. J. S. Hunter of Piketon, and Mrs. E. C. Jackson of Portsmouth to mourn their loss.
