Dr. Clarence Fitzpatrick

Dr. Clarence Fitzpatrick, a well-known physician in Jackson for 56 years, died Tuesday evening at Oak Hill Hospital. He was 85.

Dr. Fitzpatrick graduated from Ohio State University and OSU of Medicine. He did his internship at Mr. Carmel Hospital in Columbus and was a practicing physician here in Jackson for 56 years, prior to his retirement in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Eloise Terbrueggen Fitzpatrick; a daughter, Caroline Talley of Daytona Beach, Florida; and a grandson.

Friends may call at the Mayhew Funeral Home from 2 until 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held there 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Donald Silverthorn officiating Burial will be made in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellson [sic].
