Following Month's Illness

William Halterman, 76-year-old Jackson resident, succumbed at his home on Chestnut street Monday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock following an illness of one month due to complications.
Born in Jackson, Mr. Halterman had resided here all his life. For many years he was engaged as a coal miner.
Mr. Halterman is survived by one sister, Mrs. June Knecht. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Clyde E. Mayhew funeral home, Thursday afternoon at two o'clock.
Interment will follow in the Fairmount cemetery.
