MISS LEAH HILDENBRAND DIED AT THE SCURLOCK HOME IN SCIOTO COUNTY

Miss Leah Hildenbrand was born May 12, 1838 and died February 20, 1917. She spent almost all of the last two years of her life with the family of John W. Scurlock near South Webster in Scioto county. She took care of her parents for many years before their deaths after which time she lived with her sister Mrs. Wm. Aleshire for about ten years until the latter's death about six years ago.

She was a consistent Christian nearly all her life. She is survived by three sisters and a large number of nephews and nieces all of whom loved her dearly. We laid her remains away February 22 in beautiful Fairmount with the blessed assurance that her spirit is with her God. F. P. Vorhis was undertaker and Rev. M. L. Stone officiated.
