Lucy J. Johnson, age 83, died at 1:30 this morning (Wednesday) at Heartland following several years of failing health.

Born in Jackson County, she was a lifetime resident of Hamilton Township and a member of the Hamilton Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Johnson.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Preston of Lucasville; two sons, Ray of West Carrollton and Heber of Kettering; six grandchildren; and seven great grand-children.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Eisnaugle Funeral Home, Services will be held there 1 p.m. Friday with Revs. James Gleaves officiating.  Interment will be made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
