Known Citizens of Lawrence County
And Is survived By A
Family of Grown Children

Adam K.Cron one of the oldest
and best known residents of Law-
rence county died at 7:45 Wednes-
day night at his home on Buckeye
creek in Mason township The de-
ceased was about 94 years of age and
he had been a resident of this county
ty for more than fifty years. He was
born November 3, 1818 in Virginia
and came to this county in the early Fifties.
He was married to a Miss Brown and a large
family of children was born to them.
Five sons, Stephen, Riley, John, Robert and A.P. Cron
and one daughter, Mrs. Hughes survive the
deceased, the aged wife having passed
away some years ago.
The deceased was a member of the
Regular Baptist church and all his
life he was a faithful, consistent
Christian, living an upright and honorable
life. He was widely known throughout
the county and many will mourn his death. He
had been ill about one year from the effects of a
complication of ailments, due to old age and
his death was not unexpected.
The funeral services over the remains
will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock
and will be conducted by Rev. Lunsford. The
interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
