Obit:   Charles Wilmore, son of the ex-policeman W. V. Wilmore, died at his father's home in Whitwell at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon of typhoid fever, ages 15 years. Charlie was a bright and energetic boy who gave promise of an useful life, and his untimely dead is deplored by all who knew him. For two years he was a carrier for the Republican, and performed his duties always to the satisfaction of his employer and the public whom he served. Only a fews weeks ago he gave up the position to take one in the grocery store of John Isaacs in Whitwell, where he soon won the esteem and confidence of his employer. He was fast learning to be useful there when the fatal illness seized him. After two weeks of suffering he passed away. He was an only son and his parents have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
  The funeral takes place from the residence in Whitwell at 2 p.m. Tuesday, burial at Woodland.
