Mrs. Nancy J. Stephens, 90, of Willow Wood, died at 2 a.m. today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Dement, Willow Wood.
She was born Sept. 14, 1866 in Lawrence County, daughter of the late John P, and Jane Murnahan Kingery. Her husband,, William H. Stephens preceded her in death in 1938. All of her life was spent in the Willow Wood community. Mrs. Stephens was a member of the Locust Grove Methodist Church.
Surviving are six children: Mrs. Charles Gustin and Mrs. Kelsi Dement, both of Ironton, Mrs. Sherman Cron, of Wilgus, Mrs. George Keaton, of Columbus, Charles Stephens and Mrs. Charles Dement both of Willow Wood, a sister, Mrs. Charles W. Stephens, of Springfield, two brothers, John Kingery, of Ironton and Robert Kingery of Lucasville, O.; 29 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Locust Grove Methodist Church. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
The body is at the Phillips Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 tonight.
