Grace Rugg Garrison
Services for Mrs. Raymond T. Garrison, 63, wife of Raymond Garrison, Toledo attorney, were held this afternoon in the United Brethren church, Toledo.  The body will be taken to Rochester, where she formerly lived, for services and burial at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Grace Rugg Garrison was born at Rochester, Aug. 31, 1876, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Rice, Toledo. She was married to Raymond T. Garrison, formerly of Rochester on Jan. 2, 1905.  She united with the Rochester Methodist Church at an early age and later transferred her membership to the United Brethren Church of Toledo, and was an active member to the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, Raymond T. Garrison; her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Rice; and an adopted son, Richard James Garrison, all of Toledo. [Unknown Newspaper, 1939; Submitted by MMH]

Garrison Rites Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Grace (Rugg) Garrison who died Saturday at the home of her daughter and family, the Raymond Rice’s, Toledo, were held in the Rochester Baptist church, Monday.  The Rev. Marcus Grether, Creston, officiated, and Mrs. C. M. McGuff, also of Creston sang two numbers.  Beautiful flowers banked the front end of the church and bespoke the esteem by which she was held.  The pall bearers were Stanley Storrow, Rallph Taylor, Donald Hawley, of here, Court Marshall, Nankin, Carl Garrison, Elyria and Lynn Garrison, Jr., Natrona, Pa.  Interment was made in the village cemetery under the direction of John C. Murray, Creston, her relative.  Among those present from away were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rice and family, Mrs. Marshall Rugg, Tad Garrison and son, Mrs. Hattie Marshall and daughter, Mrs. Lola Rushworth, Toledo; Bert Chapman, Cleveland; Mrs. Elnora Rugg, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ledyard and friend, Elyria; Mr. and Mrs. Courtland Marshall, Nankin; Lynn Garrison and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Garrison, Jr., Natrona, Pa; Mrs. Jessie Noyes, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fisher, Wellington; Mr. and Mrs. Don Hawley and children, Huntington, and Mrs. Lester Ketchum, New London.
