Elizabeth C. Hart
Age 70 years, dies Sunday, April 3, 1904 at the residence of her brother, 525 East College Street, at 5 a.m. Funeral private.

Henry Hart
Murray Ridge September 7th 1897: The news of the sudden death of Mr. Henry Hart, a resident of Carlisle, was received with sadness by the people of his neighbourhood, on Sunday. Mr. Hart was well and favorably known throughout the county. The family has the sympathy of all in their great bereavement. [The Elyria Republican Sept 9, 1897]
Henry Hart, of Carlisle, died early Sunday morning of paralysis, aged 67 years.  The deceased leaves a large family. He was born on the farm where he died. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon and the remains interred in the family cemetery. [September 9, 1897]

Jennie Hart
Jennie Hart dies at Oberlin, Ohio Feb 8, 1936
Mrs. Jennie B. Hart, 64, passed away early this morning at Allen Hospital after a two weeks illness. Mrs. Hart was born August 15, 1871 in Cleveland.  She came to Oberlin in June 1905 at the time of her marriage to Flavious A. Hart, who passed away in 1918.  Surviving are two sons, Arthur and Henry of Oberlin, also a sister Mrs. Will Morris of Cleveland. Arrangements have not been completed for the funeral services, which will probably be held Monday afternoon at the Sedgeman Funeral Parlor.

Relief Hart
On Jan. 5, Mrs. Relief (Baldwin) Hart, widow of the late Sylvester Hart died at her home in Oberlin, aged nearly 88 and one half years. She was the mother of Henry Hart and Mrs. Eckler of Carlisle. Hildebrandt
Amherst: A large number from here attended the Hildebrandt boy funeral in Lorain, Saturday.  The boy sacrificed his life, while playing, by falling on an open jack-knife in his hand, which penetrated a lung and resulted in peritonitis.  [The Evening Telegram (Elyria, OH) – Monday, June 7, 1909; JD, Sub by FoFG]


Albert Hitchman
Albert Hitchman, a Republican politician of Butler who is well known to many Elyria people, died Thursday after an extended illness.

Rose Farkas Huszti
Rose Huszti (nee Farkas), 93, of Lorain, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at Avon Oaks Caring Community in Avon, of natural causes. She was born April 4, 1914 in Oros, Zemplen, Hungary and had resided in Lorain since 1920, moving from Hungary. Along with her husband Joseph, she operated Huszti’s Café, a popular neighborhood bar in South Lorain, for many years. Prior to that she worked as a clerk at Kroger’s Grocery. Rose was an active member of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ in Lorain, where she served on the Busy Martha Guild, the Caring Circle, the Crafts Club and sang in the church choir. She taught Sunday school and was a social member of the Hungarian Sick Benefit Society.Rose enjoyed gardening and was known for her beautiful rhododendron bushes at her home. She enjoyed needlepoint and made Danish linens and enjoyed cooking Hungarian foods.She took great pride in the fact that both of her sons became professors of music. After Rose’s matron of honor died at a young age, she became very close with her daughter, Dolores Mikola Salva, whom she treated as one of her own children. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Bela Huszti and his wife Melinda (nee Murray) of Irvine, CA, and Allen Warren Huszti and his late wife Sara (nee Keep) of Oberlin; three grandchildren, Heather Christine Huszti of Huntington Beach, CA, Douglas Allen Huszti of Brooklyn, NY, and Hannah Elizabeth Vaughan of Buckingham, VA; four great- grandchildren, Margaret Vaughan, Emily Vaughan, Alexander Vaughan and Lia Huszti; and sister, Julia Kostyn of Elyria.She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joseph Maynard Huszti in 1998; parents, Sandor and Julia Farkas (nee Illes); sister, Blanche Albert; and brother, Alex Farkas.A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. at Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ, 1691 E. 31st St., Lorain. The Rev. Peter Toth, pastor, will officiate. Private burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.  Arrangements are under the direction of Gluvna Shimo Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.

Sara Ellin Keep Huszti
Mrs. Allen W. Huszti.  Mrs. Sara (Keep) Huszti, 30, of 14 Cayuga Dr., Hudson, Mass. former native and resident of Lorain died yesterday in Marboro Hospital in Hudson where she had been a patient two days. Mrs. Huszti was graduated from Lorain High School in 1958 and from William and Mary College in Richmond, Va. in 1961.  She studied a year in England and received a master of arts degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.  Surviving are her husband, Allen W., a son Douglas and a daughter, Hannah, both at home:  her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Keep, Lorian and a grandmother, Mrs. M. D. Miller, Avon.  Arrangements for funeral services and burial are incomplete.[Elyria Chronicle Telegram, 2/19/1970; Sub. by MMH]
